As you all know, we have several brokers that search for unsearched collections for us all over the country. We are offered collections everyday, but we only choose the highest quality and the best values for our customers. This latest collection consists of over 104,000 wheat pennies – the entire collection. As we were negotiating the purchase, we were mulling over how best to sell them and decided, for the first time to offer this smaller, high value collection by the roll.

So, we took possession of the collection and added the Pennies.com touch to it. We ran the coins, through the counter, and as always, we did not remove, check, investigate, or encumber the coins in any way. The exact order they came out of the counter was the way they were rolled and then the rolls were crimped to ensure no one knows the contents of the roll until our customer opens.
